ART THAT HEALS. HOPE THAT LASTS.

"There's a storm many of us carry.
Not always loud...but always there."

It swirls inside, confusion, pain, fear;
sometimes hard to name,
even harder to share.

This project gave us space to try.
To bring that storm into the light.
To get it out, through paint, through design,
through brushstrokes and broken lines,
through stories told without words.

One of us made a bouquet;
each flower a moment,
something fragile from life that grew,
then got thrown away.
But still...even discarded things can bloom again.

Another drew cards;
not to play, but to say:
"My identity changes. Every day. It's not fixed. Not easy. But maybe that's okay."

Some of us showed what it feels like to drown;
a hand poking just above the waves,
surrounded by red, distressed, desperate, but still reaching.

We talked about not feeling at home in our own skin.
About being too much. Or not enough.
About how sometimes, just breathing is brave.

"Even in the struggle...we found hope.
A thread. A whisper.
A quiet confidence rising."

We realised redemption isn't always loud.
It's not perfect. It's not polished.
It's personal. It's slow. It's messy.
But it's real. And it's ours.

This mural is not just an image. It's a symbol.

The bird you see? That's us.
Wings stretched, still learning how to fly.
But not giving up. It's pulling apart the fence,
breaking through the things that held us back.
It carries quiet strength, a settled grit.

The plants in the background?
They're the bouquet.
Life growing, from pain, from hope, from all of it.
Even the dark places have roots that reach for light.

"That we're not alone.
That broken doesn't mean beyond repair.
That our story, your story, isn't over."

That healing comes not from hiding the cracks...
but by redeeming them.

This is our story, now filled with hope.
